Want to know how to lose weight efficiently? Try having a full workout routine. It is one of the many ways to lose weight, but what makes it great is the efficiency it offers. A plan that works for you is better than any other pre-made plan out there so if you are interested about having your own workout routine, then do not hesitate to start one. Here are some guidelines to help you out:

Control calories through diet.

First in the list is to modify your daily calorie intake through dieting. Thinking that you only need to add exercise in a weight loss plan is wrong. One of the crucial parts of a successful weight loss process (and will always be) is your diet.

To find the amount of calories to consume, you should know how to use a calorie calculator or get the correct amount from your dietician or nutritionist. A calorie calculator is fine, as long as you input the correct data. Now that you have the calories needed for the day, you should change your diet plan to ensure that you stay within that range. To make the system work, include nutritious food types like fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meat. You do not want to add more fat in the diet, so control the consumption of fatty foods as well as fat producing food items like processed foods, fried foods and sweets.

The workout routine.

A full workout routine includes various forms of exercises and fitness activities. Start with a simple plan by exercising 3-4 times per week. Of course, you can change the plan any way you like, as long as it fits your needs. For starters, one can go with 3-day gym workouts with rest days in between. A workout day likely consists of warm-up exercises, cardio activities, circuit training and weight lifting exercises that focus on strengthening the muscles. It is best to target one body area at a time, but your overall workout plan should target the whole body.

Take note that workout routines usually last for 3 months or more, it can last to 6 months or even a year! The reason for this is that we are shaping the body and not merely losing weight. Weight loss comes sooner than a toned body.

Relaxation and rest

Relaxation and rest are crucial because these are the periods where the body, specifically the muscles, rejuvenates. It is also the period where muscles grow and form. Relaxation activities include body massage, hot spa, and yoga. Do them as often as you can or just give your body a good rest between intervals.

This is how you start with your full workout routine. Obviously, these tips are just the tip of the iceberg. As you go along, you will discover more methods and techniques. Bottom line is, you are on the right track and you will certainly improve over until you get the results you want.

The Side Effects of Diet Pills

Posted in Detox Benefits, Free Trials on September 26th, 2011 by Steve – Comments Off

If we want to take a pill to enhance weight loss, we’re inundated with choices. Yet the sad thing is, life is never as simple as popping a pill and watching the weight drop off. Unfortunately, putting foreign substances in our body is nearly always going to result in one or more unwanted side effects.

A diet pill that has gained a lot of publicity in recent years is one known by the name of Alli. Alli is available over the counter and is a less potent version of the prescription only drug Orlistat, or Xenical.

The drug operates by inhibiting the body’s ability to absorb fat. While this sounds all well and good in theory, any fat consumed has to come out somewhere; usually in the form of difficult or even impossible to control bowel movements. Pretty grim as side-effects come.

What’s more, we need some fats and unfortunately, Alli and friends are unable to distinguish between those that are bad, and those that are good. Consequently, dieters who continue using the drug for any length of time become undernourished and potentially deficient in a number of vitamins including A, D, E and K.

So what are the benefits?

The manufacturers of these drugs claim that you will lose 50% more weight than you would through dieting alone. A substantial amount (if true) but is that really worth the adverse effects? You’re still going to need to diet and exercise in order to gain any results, so why not just take a little longer and avoid nutrient deficiency and ‘please God let the world swallow me up right now’ levels of embarrassment?

The alternatives

There are a number of diet products that are derived from nature and from what we know, have no side-effects.

The acai berry for instance, is simply a fruit (though many of the supplements available contain extracts from the fruit, not the whole fruit). It has no special qualities except being remarkably high in fibre, vitamins and antioxidants.

It’s thought that the acai berry aids weight loss by making the body feel full more quickly and for longer (due to its fibre content) and by raising the metabolism and boosting energy levels (due to its vitamin content).

As it’s merely a humble fruit, acai berry side effects are non-existent (bar a small risk of vitamin overdose). However, there are many people who state it’s ineffective, and unlike Alli and other ‘chemical’ diet drugs, the acai berry has little scientific backing for its claims.

So what else is there?

You could always try ephedrine, also known as ephedra. These drugs do work well and they do so by reducing the appetite. Yet they also, are not without their side effects; in fact, if you thought the side effects of Alli were bad, think again.

They often increase blood pressure, meaning that those with an underlying heart condition become at great risk of heart failure and stroke.

However, consider the fact that these pills encourage you to eat very little, which in turn encourages your body to seek energy from your stored fat and your muscle (including your heart). The consequence of this is damage to the heart which then puts you in danger of the aforementioned; even if you were perfectly healthy beforehand.

You might also experience headache, back pain, insomnia, anxiety, depression, acne and heart palpitations. Oh, and you’ll most likely get addicted to them. But that’s probably all water under the bridge when you consider you could die.

So what should I do?

Well there’s always good, old-fashioned diet and exercise. But if you’re really determined to take diet pills, be sure to do your research and weigh up the pros, cons and risks before you start popping pills.

You could choose the non-existent acai berry side effects, or you could choose downright embarrassing or just plain dangerous side effects. I’m not here to tell you what to do, but please, don’t take any drug, whether it’s over the counter or especially over the internet, without being fully informed on what it is and what it might do.

Avoid These Common Fast Weight Loss Mistakes

Posted in Acai Berry, exercise, Free Trials, weight loss on September 22nd, 2011 by Steve – Comments Off

Most people will try to lose weight at some point in their lives, and of course results will always vary. Some people find it incredibly easy while others will struggle with it for a long time. Even though it all boils down to basic science and burning more calories than you consume, there are many ways to go wrong when it comes to losing weight. Just ask any yo-yo dieter or somebody who has been struggling with their weight since their teenage years. Maybe it’s the combination of seemingly easy answers with a need for fast results. Or it could just be related to human nature and the temptation to find the quickest way to do things. In any case, there are common weight loss mistakes that people make all the time, and here are some that you should avoid.

Too much too soon – just because you can lose 10 pounds in one week doesn’t mean you should. In fact, any more than 2 pounds a week is not a good idea. People want instant gratification but when it comes to losing weight, you should look for a more gradual approach that keep your body healthy at the same time. This isn’t a race so try to find a way that you can blend healthier practices into your lifestyle rather than simply exercising your butt off for two weeks.

No planning – the process of weight loss can be a journey and as such, it requires a certain degree of planning. Many people tell themselves that they want to lose weight and jump into it without any organization. They might give themselves a deadline and do everything possible to eat healthy, but there is no overarching plan that ties everything together. It’s important to have a general idea of where you want to go and what it takes in order to get you there. This involves taking a close look at your eating patterns to get a handle on your overall caloric intake. It might also require a bit of daily menu planning and addition to recording information about exercises you do.

High expectations – it’s good to reach for the stars and set goals for yourself, but when it comes to weight loss you need to be realistic as well. You can’t expect yourself to lose weight at the same rate during a given period of time. Nor should you compare your results for your body to anyone else, otherwise it will drive you crazy. Set reasonable goals and be proud of yourself for reaching them while remembering that even little steps help in the overall picture.

Doing it Alone – one mistake people make is isolating themselves for one reason or another when they are trying to lose weight. You might feel alone in the process or maybe even embarrassed about needing to lose weight. But it’s important to recognize there is a lot of help available from friends and family, on the Internet, and from your physician. Open up those lines of communication because trying to do everything on your own can be very difficult.

Obsession – when you make fast weight loss during mission in life it can potentially become an obsession. Many people spend way too much time thinking of fat-free foods they can buy or how they can cut calories from their overall diet. They might spend a lot of time getting up and off the scale while thinking about the numbers constantly. It’s important to find balance when it comes to how you go about things because going too far in one direction can set you off kilter. Try your best not to turn this process into an unhealthy obsession that jeopardizes your health.

Shop PurityProducts.com Today!

As I was discussing with a couple of friends over our workout routine last week, we soon realized that we have made many mistakes that most beginners will make time and time again. We know that it is not easy to know everything that you should be doing in order to lose weight and getting fit, but if you pay attention to the states that we will list the, then we are sure that you will be achieving your results in no time.

The first thing that we would like to recommend is to buy a polar heart monitor for women to ensure that you are able to track your results on a daily basis without problems. This is a critical step since most beginners will not track the results in order to find out what is working and what is not working.

Only by buying a good heart rate monitor you will be able to track your heart beat and find out the right heart rate that you should be working on it. If you have ever read some other articles on the web about how to lose weight, then you probably know that there is an optimal heart rate that you should be having when you’re running out in the streets. This heart rate is the best one to lose weight.

If you work out and you have either a higher or a lower heart rate than this optimal heart rate, then you might be losing a great opportunity to get the quicker. That’s why we recommend getting for example a cheap Polar FT40 for sale which is by far one of the best heart rate monitors available in the market.

The good thing about it is that you can find a women’s and also a men’s version of this ensuring that you have not only one great watch with you all the time, but also one nice looking watch this you can wear it everyday.

Four Fun Fitness Ideas to Escape the Drudgery of the Gym

Posted in curves, exercise, Free Trials, weight loss on August 22nd, 2011 by Steve – 3 Comments

ab circle pro 30 day trial

Each year thousands of people start with the best of intentions and join a gym. Yet most of those people will only go to the gym a few times before they get bored, and their goal of loosing weight and becoming more fit fails as they have lost their motivation. A lot of people feel like they are putting so much effort into their exercise but not getting much in return. This causes them to loose the motivation they originally had as they feel it’s not fun any more and it feels like hard work. On top of the disappointment of not managing to stick to an exercise plan, there is the additional frustration at the money wasted on paying for the gym membership.

The most common reason for people loosing motivation is that they simply start to get bored. If you find exercise fun you are more likely to stick with it and reach your fitness goals. It’s for this reason that many people are seeking an alternative to the gym, but with so many options out there where do you start. I have put together my favorite ways to stay in shape to help you get started.

Skipping

You may not have skipped since you were at school but it is actually a fantastic way to burn calories and shed a few pounds, (you can burn up to 300 calories in 30 mins). It also provides a great workout for your shoulders, thighs, calves and bottom as well as being a good cardio workout. Even if you haven’t skipped for yours it shouldn’t take you too long to pick it up again and with a bit a practice you’ll be surprised at how good you get.

Skipping is a really versatile workout, all you need is a rope, some supportive shoes (tennis shoes are good) and somewhere to skip. You can skip pretty much anywhere insite our outside. It is best to avoid skipping on concreate or any surface where you could injure yourself if you were to fall. Grass, carpet and wood make good skipping surfaces.

Begin by practicing skipping on the spot. When you can manage 70 skips in a minute then you are ready to move on and try out some of the more fun and advanced moves. If you can’t remember them, here are a few to refresh you memory:

Bell Jumps

This is one fo the more basic advanced moves and a great one to move onto when you have got your skipping to to speed. Jump forwards then backwards as you skip. This move will do wonders for your thighs.

Running

This move it great for working you abs. As you skip simply pull up your legs.

Double Unders

When you have got the hang of the moves above then you will find it easier to master some of the more advanced moves. A good one to start with is double-unders. For this move you need to pass the rope around your body two times for each jump.

Crossovers

As the name suggests, in crossovers you have to cross over your arms while the rope passes over your head. As the rope does this you jump though the space that is left.

Pole Fitness

Pole fitness is becoming more and more popular as a way to work out and get in shape. The sleazy stripper image is long gone and pole fitness is now thought of as a type of gymnastics. It is a great method of building up your strength and giving your muscles a good workout. To get started you will need a pole. There are a wide range of pole dancing poles on the market today to suit every budget and level of ambition. The x-pole dance poles very easy to put up and are probably the most popular choice across Europe and the US. Once you have installed your pole you are ready to get started and there are lots of free lessons on YouTube. There are also lots of pole dancing DVDs that will take you from beginner level to advanced. Just remember to take it at your own place, some of the moves can be difficult to master. Make sure you put your safety first and stay inside your comfort zone.

Cycling

This is a fantastic zero impact workout and considered by many to be the best exercises you can do. It is much gentler on your body than jogging and running that can damage your joints and tendons. If you think about it why would you pay good money to sit on an exercise bike in a gym going nowhere, when you could be riding through the countryside taking in the scenery. If you are nervous about riding on roads in the city or countryside then get a mountain bike and enjoy cycling in parkland and countryside trails.

Dance Games

Dance games like the renowned Dance Dance Revolution provide a fun way for you to exercise and keep your motivation. They are especially good as you can compete against your friends and family so it won’t even feel like your working out. Most dance mat games let you select from a range of music. It can be a lot harder than it looks and will take a lot of practice to master. But most games will have beginner levels, so you can start off slow and work your wau up to learning the faster paced songs
